Informationen im Überblick
This workshop is aimed to help you better understand how your spine moves. I will guide you through a short yoga practice where we will focus on some classic backbends such as cobra, updog and bridge. Throughout the sequence there will also be movements for the shoulders, the hips, the ankles and other body parts. After the movement sequence we will break down some of these poses and I will help you understand how they fit together. Towards the end, with out body prepared, we’ll dive into some of the “Big Backbends”.
A backbend does not only involve your spine, but it is a full body exercise. A more comprehensive understanding of how your body works in backbends will help you feel more comfortable and strong. In this way you will be able to explore deeper in your practice.
At the beginning of the class I will invite you to share your expectations. What would you like to learn and why are you here. I will do my best to answer all your questions. If I cannot answer them in class, I’ll make sure to follow up.
This workshop is suitable for all levels of practitioners. No matter if you do dropbacks or are still struggling to get into full wheel. I guarantee, that you’ll learn a bunch.
